Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary students, especially primary grades (1 year minimum).
• Strong communication, classroom management, and instructional skills are essential.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Foster a faith-centered classroom environment supporting spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Archdiocesan guidelines and Common Core standards.
• Integrate Catholic teachings and Gospel values into daily instruction and classroom culture.
• Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction and support individual learning needs.
• Establish effective classroom management to encourage respect and responsibility.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, arrival, and dismissal to ensure safety.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration on schoolwide initiatives and events.
• Participate in liturgies, prayer services, and faith-based programs.

Responsibilities:

• Foster a positive, faith-centered classroom environment that promotes the spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth of all students.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum guidelines and Common Core State Standards.
• Integrate Catholic teachings, Gospel values, and faith formation into daily instruction and classroom culture.
• Assess student progress regularly and utilize data to inform instruction and support individual learning needs.
• Establish and maintain effective classroom management practices that encourage respect, responsibility, and student success.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, arrival, dismissal, and other assigned duties to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and spiritual development.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to support schoolwide initiatives, professional learning communities, special events, and student activities.
• Participate actively in school liturgies, prayer services, retreats, and other faith-based programs.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
