Position Overview

The PreK3 Teacher nurtures the spiritual, cognitive, social, and emotional growth of three-year-old students within a Christ-centered environment. This role combines foundational early childhood instruction with Catholic faith formation, creating a safe, structured, and play-based learning space.

Key Responsibilities

• Faith Formation: Lead age-appropriate prayers, introduce simple Bible stories, and cultivate a classroom environment rooted in Christian love and respect.
• Curriculum & Instruction: Plan and execute, with 2 grade partners, a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum focused on sensory exploration, social-emotional growth, fine/gross motor skills, and introductory literacy and numeracy skills.
• Classroom Management: Establish a warm, predictable routine that promotes independence and positive behavior. Assist students with self-care habits, emotional regulation, and bathroom routines as needed.
• Parent & Community Engagement: Maintain regular, transparent communication with families regarding student progress, daily activities, and developmental milestones through conferences and newsletters.
• Professional: Collaborate with early childhood colleagues, attend faculty meetings and diocesan professional development.

Qualifications & Requirements
