Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus clerical experience.
• Must complete a CDL test examiner trainer course and examination.
• Must pass a nationwide criminal background check with fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Examine, accept, prepare, enter and print documents for licenses, permits, IDs, registrations and titles.
• Serve business customers (banks, lienholders, dealerships) with licensing and insurance issues.
• Process motor vehicle registrations and respond to inquiries.
• Verify policy compliance with SC laws; determine license restrictions.
• Administer knowledge tests for Class A–G and CDL licenses.
• Handle payments and issue receipts; reconcile daily reports.
• Operate office equipment and maintain a clean, stocked workspace.
