Job summary

State of Arizona's Department of Transportation seeks a Customer Service Section Supervisor in Phoenix to lead the Central Title Production Unit and support the Abandoned Vehicle Unit. You will ensure courteous, accurate, and timely service while interpreting statutes, rules, and procedures.

The role involves staff supervision, problem resolution, revenue handling, and preparing management reports. Remote work within Arizona may be available based on performance and department needs.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressive Motor Vehicle customer service experience.
• Two or more years in a high-visibility public contact setting.
• Two or more years as a supervisor in a public service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to the Central Title Production Unit and backup to the Abandoned Vehicle Unit.
• Ensure courteous, accurate and timely service and compliance with statutes, rules and policies.
• Oversee personnel needs, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Oversee daily accounting, deposits, and safeguarding of revenue funds.
• Resolve unusual customer complaints under adverse conditions and guide problem resolution.
