Job summary

State of Arizona’s Department of Transportation is seeking an experienced Deputy Division Director of Operations to lead and optimize the MVD division. You will oversee daily operations, implement controls for workflow integrity, and sponsor strategic initiatives while collaborating with ADOT leadership and external partners.

Travel and remote work within Arizona may be required to meet performance targets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of training and employee development bestpractices
• Knowledge of Federal and state legislative process

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily administrative operations, including managing risk, budget, delivery of results and overall agency operational performance
• Streamlines internal systems, eliminates waste, introduces performance metrics (KPIs), and continuously improves operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Works with the Division Director to develop and translate vision and strategies into division operations; travel may be required, including overnight stays
