Title V -Senior Community Employment ProgramTRAINING Summary: The intake specialist Assistant provides support to the intake specialist and case management team. The intake specialist assistant plays a key role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining confidentiality.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAssist with Intake Specialist (90%)Assist in receiving and reviewing incoming client inquiriesCollect and verify client information, documents, and eligibility requirements.Enter and maintain accurate data in client management systems or databases.Provide clear information to clients regarding required forms, processes, and next steps.Support Intake Specialists and case managers with administrative tasks, reports, and follow-ups.Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications with professionalism and empathy.Provide administrative assistance including filing, scanning, and organizing intake materials.Data Entry Tasks for MOW (10%)Collect and track daily MOW volunteer hours (Excel spreadsheet/s)Working with the Assistant RSVP Manager, maintain, update the accurate required hours and respond to returned reports.Must be 55 years old or older; unemployed; resident of Bay Aging service area; a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, lawfully admitted; meet financial guidelines.Offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.Bay Aging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
