Job summary

Mortgage Connect, LP is seeking a Title Reader in New York to research public records and examine titles to determine conditions or restrictions on property titles.

You will read abstracts, review surveys, draft metes and bounds, assist in clearance of title issues, and prepare title commitments using our software system. The role requires leadership within the company and strong organizational and customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years title reading/clearance experience in New York.
  • Strong organizational skills with multitasking and deadlines; good communication.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with PCs, MS Office and office equipment.

As the Title Reader, New York, you will research public records and examine titles to determine any conditions or restrictions that may exist on property titles.

  • Prepare title commitments using our state-of-the-art, easy to use, software system
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

What You Will Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years title reading/clearance experience for New York
  • Must possess good organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines, and demonstrate good communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Proficiency with personal computers, MS Office and office equipment

The pay range for this position is 85-100,000 annually.
