Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Title Processor for Avenue to obtain, review, and validate title documents for compliant real estate transactions. You will ensure accuracy of records, tax certificates, and attorney opinions, aligning with regulations.

Coordinate with clients and partners, prepare title commitments and CPLs, verify underwriter selections and wiring instructions, and deliver materials by SLA. On-site role with growth opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of title processing or relevant real estate/title industry experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within established guidelines.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Title Processing & Documentation: Obtain and research public title records, tax certifications, and attorney opinion letters.
• Review title search materials for vesting, requirements, and exceptions to be cleared at closing.
• Examine legal descriptions, liens, and judgments for accuracy and compliance.
• Review tax certifications and attorney opinion letters for completeness and correctness.
