Job summary

GPN TITLE INC is seeking a Title Processor to join our team in Maryland. You will work with lenders, buyers, and sellers to ensure titles are clear and all documents are obtained for settlement.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in the title industry, excellent communication and customer service skills, and strong knowledge of titles, mortgages, escrow, and loans. Multitasking and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in the title industry.
• Extremely detail oriented — the strength of our business is our attention to detail so this is critical to the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Prior knowledge of titles, mortgages, escrow processes, and loans.
• The ability to multitask and switch focus between multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with lenders, buyers, and sellers to ensure everyone is on the same page while maintaining strong professional relationships
• Verify all documentation, obtain signatures as required, and keep files organized throughout the entire transaction
• Monitor the status of the title and sale throughout the entire process, and communicate it appropriately with the clients
• Troubleshoot issues with the title, lender, or purchaser as they arise as to not slow the closing process at all
• Transmit all documentation to the lender as needed
