Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Title Officer to examine chain of title and prepare commitments for title insurance upon recordation.

Responsibilities include reviewing title, running name indices, generating tax search reports, and writing title reports. You will collaborate with escrow officers and respond to customer inquiries with strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to type 40+ WPM.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High level organizational skills with attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of title examining procedures and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Review the chain of title, looking for problems, errors, liens or encumbrances.
• Run general index on all names on the title order.
• Generate property tax search report from the courthouse.
• Write title report showing related defects or encumbrances.
• Prepare letters of commitment to issue insurance policy.
• Collaborate with escrow officers.
• Answer customer questions related to title examination.
