Holliday Ingram in South Carolina seeks a dedicated Title Paralegal to join our Title Team. You will review title exams, prepare title documents, and ensure clear title prior to closing.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience reviewing title exams and title documents.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple orders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Qualia is desirable.
• Applicant must live in South Carolina, preferably within 1 hour from locations.

Responsibilities

• Review title exams following firm checklist and guidance.
• Enter data into Qualia to produce title documents.
• Communicate potential defects to underwriter or Title Attorney.
• Enter notes into Qualia regarding actions taken.
• Seek assistance from Assistant Closing Paralegal and/or Title Assistant for needed information.
• Notify Closing Paralegal and Closing Attorney of issues prior to closing.
• Prepare title documents including title commitment, tax certification, and 24‑month chain of title to ensure clear title at closing.
