Job summary

Alliance Land Resources, LLC in Abilene, TX is seeking an experienced Field Title Landman to work as an independent contractor on a project basis with our management team.

You will own your work, solve problems, and produce thorough title reports and runsheets using client templates. Oil & gas land experience (or PLM degree) and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat are required; AAPL membership preferred.

Qualifications

• Ownership and problem-solving are essential to complete tasks.
• Work quality must be thorough and accurate.
• Minimum 2 years of oil & gas land work or a PLM degree.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat at intermediate level or higher.
• Ability to adapt to new software and workflows.
• Attention to detail and quality in all aspects of work.
• AAPL membership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research county records to determine surface, mineral and/or leasehold ownership.
• Prepare runsheets and title reports using client templates or software.
• Conduct additional research to provide complete title reports within scope (surface/mineral/royalty/HBP).
• Communicate effectively regarding issues or needs as they arise.
• Meet deadlines and billing expectations with professionalism and integrity.
