The primary responsibility for the Title I Paraprofessional is directinvolvementwith students in theinstructional setting. Services rendered by the instructional assistantshall be delivered in close proximity to the classroom teacher and under direct supervision of the classroom teacher. Title I Paraprofessional shall work with Title I identified students as determined by approved selection criteria. This position requires the person to be very flexible in accepting assigned tasks by their supervisor with a strong sense of teamwork needed. This position will deal with community members, parents, students and staff on a regular basis and will be expected to interact with these publics in a professional, friendly, and organized manner.
Starting Salary: $15.00/Hourly
Must meet all Indiana requirements as highly qualified. Two years of college or the equivalent is required in order to provide instruction to a student. A teaching license and/or educational training and experience is preferred.

Equipment: This position is required to maintain a working knowledge of all classroom equipment. A basic knowledge of operations for computers, printers, telephone systems, fax machines and copiers is required.
Hours: This position is typically expected to work an average of 5.75 hours or less per day. No more then 180 days per year. Hours/days may be adjusted per the direct supervisor to assure adequate coverage to meet the demands of the school and job.
