Job summary

Brigham Young University seeks a Deputy Title IX Coordinator–Investigations to lead sensitive Title IX investigations, interview parties and witnesses, and prepare detailed reports. The role partners with the Title IX Coordinator to ensure fairness, compliance, and a supportive environment for students and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education, student affairs, student conduct, or Title IX, with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; 2+ years in higher education or legal setting preferred.
• Experience conducting investigative interviews that are fair, prompt, impartial, and confidential.
• Understanding of Title IX regulations and related university policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Title IX investigations for reports of harassment, assault, and violence.
• Serve as a decision-maker for Title IX investigations and participate in hearings/appeals.
• Facilitate alternative resolutions and coordinate prevention and education efforts.
• Provide training and stay current on Title IX issues.
