Job summary

Brigham Young University seeks a Deputy Title IX Coordinator to support training, prevention, alternative resolutions, and Title IX investigations to maintain a safe campus environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education, student affairs, counseling, or Title IX, and excellent interpersonal skills to work with sensitive information and diverse campus stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, higher education or a related field.
• At least two years of professional experience in higher education, student affairs, student conduct, Title IX, counseling, or a related field.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, implement, and deliver training to the entire campus community.
• Remain knowledgeable of current laws and trends in higher education related to Title IX.
• Develop and disseminate educational materials about Title IX rights, resources, and procedures.
• Manage Title IX investigations and alternative resolution processes.
• Train students and campus constituents regarding their rights and responsibilities under Title IX.
