Job summary

Covista is hiring a Student Finance Analyst to support accurate, timely, and compliant financial aid processing, including Title IV awarding, verification, disbursement, and credit balance handling.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy, compliance, and responsiveness, using data to uncover trends and drive improvements in student finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in student accounts and/or financial aid preferred.
• 2+ years in an analytical role with data-driven decision making preferred.
• Solid understanding of Title IV funding, policies, and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with Excel and database/web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of processes, procedures, and policies and apply them in daily tasks.
• Apply Title IV knowledge to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
• Generate, analyze, and interpret reports to support student finance operations.
• Identify trends in data and perform root cause analysis.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support system or database conversions with IT and leadership teams.
• Own key processes and mentor teammates while meeting SLAs and deadlines.
