Job summary

Qualifications

• Passing Work Keys scores or completion of 48 college credits.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• References and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or small group instruction.
• Document student progress and communicate results.
• Collaborate with teachers to determine interventions.
• Maintain documentation of services up to 19 hours per week.
• Demonstrate regular attendance and support district mission.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Purpose

• These Tutors are working in the classroom and in the tutor room with students.
• Provide academic support for selected students

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or small group instruction
• Provide documentation of student progress
• Work with teacher(s) to determine appropriate interventions
• Maintain required documentation of services provided up to 19 hours per week
• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance
• Supports the Lamar County School District Mission Statement
• Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

• Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Passing scores on "Work Keys" test or completion of 48 college credits
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Other Requirements: Required references and background check
