Job Description

Basic Function:

Provide tutoring services to Title I Non‑public students in collaboration with their teachers in language arts and/or mathematics curriculum.

Qualifications

Possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the appropriate level and a minimum of three years teaching experience. Must be able to transport self to various locations within the greater Fort Wayne area.

Essential Functions

1. Complete a student selection for Title I Non‑Public students under the guidance of the Local Education Authority (LEA) using criteria outlined in the rules and regulations covering Title I.
2. Collaborate with teachers of Title I Non‑public students to align instruction with Language Arts and/or Math curriculum.
3. Offer tutoring in Language Arts and/or Math to Title I Non‑public students individually or in small groups outside of the classroom setting; monitor student progress.
4. Engage parents of Title I Non‑public students in the Title I program.
5. Regularly consult with LEA regarding Title I services for the Non‑public site(s).
