Job summary

Sylvania is seeking an educational assistant to support classroom instructors in developing and presenting learning materials and instructional exercises.

The role requires at least two years of college credit or an associate's degree or passing a state-approved test; Michigan teaching certificate is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication, and experience with students, especially at-risk learners, are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credit or an associate's degree or passage of a State approved test required.
• Ability to assist the classroom instructor with the development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and work with individual classroom instructors.
• Experience working with students.
• Ability to assist academically at-risk students in a classroom setting and, in an individual, tutoring.
