Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of college credit, an associates degree or passage of a State approved test required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and work with individual classroom instructors.
• Experience working with students.
• Ability to assist academically at-risk students in a classroom setting and in a individual tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom instructor with development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises.
• Support classroom instruction and reinforce lessons.
• Work with students to reinforce learning and provide tutoring as needed.
• Assist academically at-risk students in a classroom setting and in individual tutoring.
• Collaborate with instructors to implement learning activities.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
