Job summary

Northern York County School District is seeking a full-time Classroom Paraprofessional to support students with diverse needs. The role runs 6.5 hours daily during the school year, with a 10-month schedule, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, at a pay rate of $15.30 per hour.

Responsibilities include tutoring, assisting with assessments, and collaborating with teachers to promote student success. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of college, or an Associate's degree, plus

Qualifications

• Secondary high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two full years of study at an institution of higher learning, an Associate's degree, or CAPE test competency.
• Basic computer competency skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring for students.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff in student development.
• Assist with administration of assessments and progress monitoring.
• Maintain FERPA confidentiality and professionalism.
• Assist with preparation of classroom materials and displays.
