Northern York County School District is seeking a full-time Classroom Paraprofessional to support students with diverse needs. The role runs 6.5 hours daily during the school year, with a 10-month schedule, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, at a pay rate of $15.30 per hour.

2026-2027 Class III, Instructional Aide, rate of pay: $15.30 / hr.
This position is responsible for providing assistance with the physical, educational and social needs of students.
All paraprofessionals in schools supported by Title I funds in part or in full, must have a secondary high school diploma or its equivalent. In addition, paraprofessional must have two full years of study at an institution of higher learning, an Associate's (or higher) degree, or demonstrated competency in basic academic skills as determined by the CAPE test. Basic computer competency skills are required.
The following clearances must be provided upon hire and updated every five years in accordance with Act 153: PA State Police-Act 34, Child Abuse- Act 151, and FBI Fingerprint-Act 114. Child Abuse training (or proof of completion) in accordance with Act 126 upon hire and repeated every five years thereafter. A negative TB test is required upon hire.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability and desire to work with children of all abilities. Confidentiality and patience are essential.
