Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned groups and individuals at designated locations and times.
• Presents materials required in the teaching assignment within district curriculum guides and under teacher direction.
• Helps implement programs of study to meet individual student needs, interests, and abilities.
• Assist in creating a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for student maturity and interests.
• Prepares for groups or individuals and shows evidence of such preparation.
• Provides the teacher input for assessing student accomplishments.
• Takes precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required.
• Assists administration in enforcing policies and rules governing student life and conduct.
• Helps enforce reasonable classroom behavior rules and maintains order fairly.
• Provides feedback to learners about their academic progress and behavior.
• Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as required.
• Reproduces, organizes, distributes, and collects instructional materials for program implementation.
• Complies with directives from the teacher, principal, or other administrator.
