Job summary

HOLLA School in Portland, OR seeks a Title I Literacy Coordinator/Teacher to lead literacy planning, data tracking, and targeted instruction for K-5 scholars. The role centers equity and family engagement within a joyful learning environment.

The candidate will align lessons with state standards, monitor progress with data, collaborate with classroom teachers, and strengthen reading and writing outcomes while upholding HOLLA School’s mission to honor lived experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• Reading endorsement and literacy background preferred.
• TSPC licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Oregon required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, data tracking, and reporting of literacy development for K-5.
• Provide individual and small-group literacy instruction.
• Facilitate literacy instruction for K-5 and plan family literacy events.
• Monitor student progress using data and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to strengthen reading and writing outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with SB-13 Tribal History/Shared History curriculum.
