Job summary

Portland Public Schools seeks an energetic and creative part-time Title I teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year to provide supplemental literacy instruction at St. Brigid School.

The successful candidate will have experience building strong relationships with students and their families and differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

This is a grant-funded position with background checks and fingerprinting required.

Qualifications

• Requires Maine State fingerprint (CHRC) authorization.
• Maine State General Elementary 020 (K-8) certificate.
• Background checks and Protecting God's Children training.
