Job summary

Plainfeild School District at Brentwood Elementary is seeking a Title I Instructional Assistant to support our elementary students. Qualifications

• Associate degree or ability to pass the ParaPro Assessment.
• Experience with school‑aged children preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
• Able to pass required background checks/fingerprinting.
• Patient, flexible, and supportive of diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-group or one-on-one instructional sessions in reading and math.
• Assist teachers in tracking student progress and data collection.
• Coordinate daily collaboration with general education teachers.
• Build positive relationships to boost student motivation and confidence.
