Job summary

Charlie Clark Auto Group in Harlingen, TX is seeking a Registration/Title Clerk to process titles and registrations, verify documents, and handle tax and fee disbursements.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma (GED accepted), 1–2 years of related experience, and proficiency with dealer software. Meticulous attention to detail and teamwork are valued in our supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, and 1–2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Verifies data, completes state forms, disbursement for taxes and fees, submits to the state.
• Processes new car and pre owned registrations on dealer’s software system.
• Processes pre-owned vehicle title transfers.
• Prepares and distributes title envelopes.
• Maintains and reconciles schedules for tax, title and license payable and lien payoffs.
• Identifies internal control issues by reviewing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Assistant Controller.
• Maintains registration logs.
• Verifies Finance and Insurance (F&I) data to documents.
• Attends weekly department meetings.

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Registration / Title Clerk. The purpose of theRegistration / Title Clerkis to process titles and registrations as well as process car deals by verifying completeness of documentation.
