Fred Beans Automotive Group is seeking an entry-level Accounting/Title Clerk to process vehicle registrations, ensure timely online registrations, and submit transfer documents to the DMV. You will maintain title records and communicate status to management.

The role involves handling title regulations, maintaining wholesaler license information, and training staff on regulatory changes. Based at our Flemington, NJ location with healthcare benefits and a strong focus on growth.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and accurate in handling invoices.
• Understanding of invoice-style billing processes.
• Ability to communicate professionally, verbally and in writing.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Process new and used vehicles for registration in the title state.
• Ensure online registration is timely and compliant with state guidelines.
• Submit all legal transfer work to the DMV.
• Maintain a complete list of outstanding title work.
• Provide status updates on missing or problematic titles to management.
• Sign over titles for wholesalers who have paid in full and maintain license info.
• Train F&I managers and sales staff on title regulations and changes.

What You'll Do

• Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
• Ensure that online registration is timely and within state guidelines.
• Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work.
• Report to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the Controller at the end of the month.
• Sign over titles for all wholesalers who have paid in full and maintain a wholesaler license information file.
• Conduct periodic training sessions for F&I managers and sales personnel regarding title regulations and procedures and issues a written memo to managers and all sales personnel whenever regulations change.
