Job summary

Apex Clean Energy develops, constructs, and operates utility-scale wind, solar, and storage facilities across North America. A Title/Real Estate Paralegal will order, review, and process title insurance commitments, draft curative documents, and assist with documents related to project financing.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and related paralegal experience, plus the ability to understand PLSS and metes and bounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and Title, survey, contract and/or Real Estate Paralegal experience.
• Ability to understand legal descriptions including PLSS and metes and bounds.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Order, review and process title insurance commitments, draft and record title curative documents, and review ALTA surveys.
• Edit title proformas, prepare legal exhibits, and draft curative and other documents related to project financing.
• Track status of title work and report to internal and external parties the necessary information required to obtain title insurance policies.
