Job summary

Apex Clean Energy seeks a Title Analyst to support the development, financing, construction, and operation of utility-scale renewable projects. You will review title commitments, perform curative work, and analyze ALTA surveys as part of the Land Management Team across Apex’s national portfolio.

The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Remote and hybrid options are considered, with headquarters-based work preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Title, survey, contract and/or Real Estate Paralegal experience.
• Ability to understand legal descriptions; PLSS and metes and bounds descriptions.
• Experience with oil, gas, and mineral title preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work assignments and projects.
• Ability to collaborate with peers, clients and managers to align with business goals.
• Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and be accountable.
• Team-oriented and trust-based work style.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; ability to leverage various technologies.

Responsibilities

• Order, review and process title insurance commitments, draft and record title curative documents and review ALTA surveys.
• Edit title proformas, prepare legal exhibits, and draft curative and other project-financing documents.
• Track status of title work and report information needed for title insurance policies.
• Research deeds, analyze county tax parcel and GIS data, maintain title data in the land database.
• Provide support to land team and real estate attorneys on real estate tasks.
• Perform administrative functions such as landowner mailings, scanning and e-recording.
