McFarlane Alaska in Palmer, AK is seeking an experienced Titanium TIG Welder to join our production team. You will fit and weld titanium aircraft components in a high-precision, FAA-regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has strong TIG welding skills with titanium, reads engineering drawings, and maintains cleanliness and documentation. We offer competitive pay, 4/10's schedule, and a collaborative, safety‑driven shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous professional titanium TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication prints.
• Commitment to high-quality, repeatable welds and workmanship.
• Capable of working independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision TIG welding on titanium components and assemblies.
• Prepare materials and weld joints per procedures and specs.
• Maintain proper heat input, cleanliness, and shielding during welding.
• Fabricate and weld components per drawings and procedures.
• Inspect welds and maintain documentation for traceability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality personnel.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with FAA-related requirements.
