Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) seeks a TIG Welder with titanium experience to join our Albany, Oregon team. The role welds titanium castings in a controlled chamber using argon, requiring at least one year of prior titanium welding experience and the ability to pass a welding test and eye exam.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal vocational program and/or 1 year or more of prior TIG welding experience is required.
• Must pass welding test within 4 weeks of start date.
• Must pass an annual eye exam.
• Requires ability to bend, lift, push, and pull with or without accommodations.
• HS diploma or equivalent GED required; candidates with relevant experience may be considered.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a stable job history.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and be willing to undergo pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding in chamber to repair castings, using argon atmosphere.
• Use calipers and profile templates to repair castings accurately.
• Work with team on rework plans to conform castings to specifications.
• Use grinder to shape tungsten.
• Load and unload castings from chamber.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
