Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a General Production Worker for the Morgantown, PA location to support 1st shift (8am-4pm) operations in the Metals division.

The role involves operating shear, crusher, sorting equipment, blending and briquetting, and supporting the loading and unloading of materials. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College/technical schooling or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong learning aptitude required.
• Experience using mobile equipment highly preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete work assignments in accordance with production requirements.
• Set-up, run, and troubleshoot machinery used to process titanium and create blends for melting.
• Operates and performs preventative checks on forklifts, front-end loaders, and other equipment to load, unload, and transport supplies.
• Complete all shop floor data paperwork/terminal input accurately and throughly for the cell/operation assigned.
• Communicate necessary information to supervisor/foreman or manager, regarding equipment issues, material issues, and safety-related concerns.
