Job summary

CPP Corporation in Albany, Oregon is seeking a Metals Operator for a weekday shift. The role involves identifying, cleaning, cutting, sorting and delivering metal for aerospace components.

Base responsibilities include ensuring production quality, assisting in Ingot and Casting areas, and daily equipment checks. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings. Weekend OT may be offered based on need.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Good attendance record required.
• Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to withstand long periods of standing and walking.
• HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Identify and separate metal.
• Responsible for production and quality of metal.
• Assist with production duties in the Ingot and Casting departments.
• Report any issues with metal and/or equipment.
• Monitor cleaning equipment and transport metal to and from Chem Mill area.
• Operate company flatbed to safely transport, load, and unload materials, equipment and supplies between company facilities, and other designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure materials are properly secured and transported in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
