Job summary

Assistance Technique Internationale in Monroe, NC seeks a VAR Melter to set up and operate furnaces producing titanium electrodes for aerospace applications. You will work in a controlled environment and rotate to the production floor for maintenance tasks, loading electrodes and following SOPs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in manufacturing, and experience with heavy equipment such as forklifts or overhead cranes.

Qualifications

• At least one year of manufacturing experience.
• At least one year of heavy equipment operation (forklift or overhead crane).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate furnaces for production of titanium and titanium alloy ingots.
• Clean and prepare furnaces and perform maintenance tasks on the production floor.
• Load electrodes, close/evacuate furnaces, and inspect equipment following SOPs.
