ATI is seeking a Melting Operations Manager to oversee Vacuum Arc Remelting (VAR) and Electron Beam Melting (EBM) operations at our Richland, WA facility. You will manage production, maintenance, safety, quality, and costs to ensure efficient, compliant throughput in a titanium melting environment.

You will drive continuous improvement, develop schedules, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams toward operational excellence while aligning with customer specifications and aerospace

Qualifications

• Six years of professional manufacturing experience.
• Experience guiding and developing employees in a production or operations role.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily titanium melting and casting operations (VAR and EBM) to meet production, quality, and delivery goals.
• Develop and execute production schedules while monitoring throughput, yield, and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with metallurgical specifications, process controls, and SOPs.
• Foster safety culture, OSHA/environmental compliance, and lead incident investigations.
• Collaborate with Quality and Metallurgical Engineering to meet ISO 9001/AS9100/NADCAP requirements.
• Partner with Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and plant personnel; support hiring and training.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement to raise productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage budgets, labor, maintenance, and operating costs; support capital planning.
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics to optimize performance.
