ATI in Monroe, NC seeks an Engineer to optimize titanium melt technology and support processes for yield, cost and productivity improvements on existing and new assets.

Responsibilities include process ownership for remelting operations, developing flow paths and documentation, and providing technical support from quote to shipment for cast ingot products, while driving data-driven problem solving and shop-floor improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in materials science, metallurgy, or related field.
• Experience with statistical data analysis using JMP or Minitab.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; CAD knowledge is a plus.
• 2+ years in industrial metals manufacturing or related engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Provide melt process technical support for titanium remelting operations.
• Own projects and coordinate with internal and external customers in aerospace/defense.
• Develop process instructions and maintain specifications and documentation.
• Support process deviations, CPS/CTQ metrics and shop-floor improvements.
• Collaborate to improve safety, quality, productivity and costs.
• Assist in new product/process development through standardization and audits.

Educación

B.S./M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering
