Job summary

Assistance Technique Internationale (ATI) seeks a Plasma Melter at our Bakers facility in Monroe, NC. You will operate a plasma melt furnace to manufacture titanium electrodes for aerospace use, in a controlled environment with periodic maintenance tasks on the production floor.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year in manufacturing or maintenance/diesel roles, with basic math, mechanical, and computer literacy skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of manufacturing experience
• At least one year of maintenance or diesel background

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate vacuum, positive pressure plasma arc furnace, and start cycle gas system
• Perform operating and safety checks
• Continuously monitor controls and gauges during operation
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and charts
• Operate forklifts and cranes
• Maintain clean and orderly work area
