Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires experience in construction or industrial setting.
• Must follow safety procedures and SOPs.
• Entry level role in the melt shop line.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators in loading, unloading, and handling materials.
• Assist in maintenance of furnaces and loading/unloading furnace accessories.
• Inspect and clean welds, stubs, electrodes and crucibles as required.
• Fabricate electrodes and stubs by welding per welding specifications.
• Maintain records and enter data in computer systems as needed.
• Operate materials handling equipment such as cranes and hoists.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment under supervision.
