Job summary

ICON is seeking a Field Engineering Technician II to support commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Titan 3D printing systems in the field. You will work alongside senior technicians to resolve electrical, mechanical, and software issues, execute preventive maintenance, and develop the hands‑on skills needed to operate independently on active construction sites.

Expect travel, outdoor environments, and a steep learning curve with real ownership from day one.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on Field Technician experience.
• OSHA 10 and CPR certifications (heavy equipment training provided).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and terminate cables.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to foresee issues and guide others to mitigate them.
• Proactive planning and prioritization in dynamic environments.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Connect and disconnect electrical, pneumatic, and network cabling to enable printer mobility with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues on printers and related systems.
• Update ticketing system with accurate troubleshooting and maintenance records.
• Build relationships with Print Operators to ensure smooth project execution and identify root causes of recurring issues.
• Coordinate complex tasks while ensuring team safety and efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to reduce downtime.
• Monitor printer data and proactively address potential issues.
