Job summary

Mid South Transplant seeks a Tissue Recovery Technician to perform postmortem musculoskeletal and/or cardiovascular tissue recoveries using surgical techniques within our donor service area (3-hour radius of Memphis, TN). Training is provided to ensure your success.

This is a full-time, on-call role with a 24-hour shift, 15–16 days per month, including some weekends and holidays. A company vehicle is provided for travel to hospitals.

Qualifications

• Aseptic Technique and Human Anatomy knowledge.
• Experience as an EMT, Autopsy Technician, Surgical Technician, funeral home experience.

Responsibilities

• Recover postmortem musculoskeletal and/or cardiovascular tissues by using surgical techniques in the donor service area (3-hour radius of Memphis, TN).
• You are the surgeon performing the recovery with training provided to ensure success.
