Job summary

Network for Hope (NFH) is seeking a Tissue Recovery Coordinator to oversee the recovery, preservation, and transport of donated tissues in accordance with industry standards. You will ensure care, professionalism, and alignment with NFH's mission and values, with potential non-technical duties such as maintaining supplies.

Responsibilities include donor preparation, OR readiness, logistics management, aseptic tissue recovery, documentation, and strict adherence to procedures and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary medical training preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, pathology, or funeral service preferred.
• No licensure or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prepare donors for tissue recovery, including postmortem preparation and operating room sanitation.
• Organize and prepare operating rooms or recovery suites for tissue recovery.
• Manage logistics for transporting donors.
• Perform aseptic recovery of tissues while maintaining sterility in line with NFH policies and procedures.
• Record received supplies and maintain the supply room to ensure it is fully stocked.
• Adhere to regulations and standards ensuring all recovery processes follow procedures and quality standards.
