Job summary

LifeNet Health is seeking a Tissue Recovery Surgical Specialist to perform sterile recovery processes for tissues, organs, and samples in a clinical and non-clinical setting. You will support pre- and post-recovery activities, maintain sterile fields, and ensure precise labeling and packaging for viability.

The role requires sitting/standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and PPE usage. Travel 60% or more is expected, with full-time schedule and on-call responsibilities in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Credentialing requirements of area hospitals must be met.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in healthcare, science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative & postoperative duties; prepare supplies, equipment, and ensure site readiness.
• Tissue recovery including donor positioning, sterile field maintenance, and tissue labeling.
• Prepare tissues for shipment and manage inventory of tissue and supplies, ensuring KPI tracking.
