Job summary

A leading organization in tissue donation is seeking a Tissue Recovery Manager in Nashville, TN, to provide daily supervision of tissue recovery operations. This role involves coordinating with medical staff and overseeing the tissue donation process. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in tissue banking, including supervision. Competitive compensation of $110,000.00–$120,000.00 annually with benefits including PTO and insurance options.

Qualifications

• 4 years of tissue banking experience including employee supervision.
• AATB Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the tissue donation process with hospitals and funeral homes.
• Safely recovers human tissue for transplant.
• Provides feedback on employee performance and participates in evaluations.
• Ensures quality recovery practices are followed.
• Participates in Supervisor On Call (SOC) duties and ensures medical eligibility.
