Job summary

Live On Nebraska in Omaha seeks a Tissue Recovery Coordinator to support the Tissue Services team. This on-site role requires an anatomy-focused background, sterile technique, and strong communication to coordinate tissue recovery and documentation.

Approximately 25% of time is spent on tissue recovery while the remainder focuses on proper documentation and coordinating the recovery process. The position is on-site with residency within 45 minutes of Omaha and includes a rotating on-call

Qualifications

• Experience with sterile technique and anatomy concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams and external partners.
• Knowledge of donor records and tissue recovery processes.
• Willingness to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, facilitate, and perform surgical recovery of tissues.
• Assess donor records and determine suitability.
• Complete donor electronic records accurately.
• Oversee cases, delegate duties, and communicate with partners.
• Provide ethical, sensitive treatment to donors.
