Live On Nebraska is seeking a Per Diem Tissue Procurement Coordinator to support our mission of saving and enhancing lives. This role plays a crucial part in the donor recovery process, ensuring all procedures are conducted with precision, professionalism, and adherence to the highest medical standards.
Required to work at least 8 shifts per month. Shifts are 12 hours (0700 - 1900, 1900 - 0700) to facilitate the recovery of Tissues.
Education: Experience as a Surgical Tech, LPN, EMT, Nursing or other health science professional and/or a bachelor’s degree or Associate's degree with a focus on Human Anatomy, is required. Certified Tissue Banking Specialist Certification (CTBS) preferred.
Experience: Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and sterile techniques preferred.
