First Quality Tissue SE, LLC in Anderson, SC, seeks a Manufacturing Technical Service Leader to drive fabric design and support tissue machine operations. You will manage fabric inventory, lead times, and vendor relationships while coordinating trials and improvements across sites.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in tissue manufacturing and fabric design, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and/or paper science is required.
• Minimum 5 years in tissue manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in fabric design and manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of tissue base sheet and finished product test results.
• Experience with process troubleshooting and ATS/Analytical Troubleshooting.

Responsabilités

• Manage fabric inventory, orders, and fabric design for each machine.
• Lead fabric vendors on lead times and deliveries with the PM Team.
• Monitor fabric specs, test results, and vendor COA data.
• Provide paper machine technical support including centerlines and data tracking.
• Ensure availability by responding to PM Team with data and direction.
• Support paper machine design differences across machines (press, vacuum, drying).
• Sponsor fabric trials and coordinate install, start-up, and run tracking.
• Assist with fabric installation and process improvements across sites.
• Maintain fabric SharePoint, run records, and documentation accuracy.
