Responsibilities

• Evaluates tissue donors through medical chart review and reports.
• Presents donor information to tissue processing or research agencies.
• Obtains informed authorization for tissue donation and donor health history.
• Maintains records and shares information with eye banks and processing facilities.
• Coordinates donation-related community activities and events.
• Participates in educational opportunities and Lean/continuous improvement.

Education

Associate’s degree in a related healthcare field

Bachelor’s degree in a related healthcare field

AATB certification within 3 years of hire
