Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Tissue Navigator to support the NF Postmortem Donation Program.

This role coordinates postmortem donation cases, ensures samples are processed and stored properly, and supports downstream analyses in basic science research. You will educate families, coordinate with medical teams, funeral homes, pathology and biorepository staff, and serve as a liaison to providers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required with health care or research exposure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Experience coordinating complex processes in healthcare or research.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate tissue donation cases with families and care teams.
• Educate patients and families on tissue donation value and logistics.
• Liaise with funeral homes, pathology, biorepository, and hospitals to ensure proper handling of samples.
• Maintain documentation adhering to professional standards and policies.
