Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and sorting tires upon arrival
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and inventory records
• Operating forklifts following OSHA standards
• Identifying and sorting tires by specifications
• Detecting and submitting warranties for defective tires
• Mounting and dismounting tires carefully
• Replacing damaged tires
• Balancing and checking runout on wide base tires
• Keeping the work environment clean and organized

Qualifications:

Knowledge of tires is a plus. Must have a strong work history, flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience.

Physical Requirements:

Constant standing, handling, reaching; frequent walking, bending, kneeling; ability to lift 105lbs, carry 60lbs, push/pull 130lbs. Steel-toed footwear and safety glasses required.

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor settings with varying weather and odors.

Licensing/Certification:

Must pass a physical exam prior to employment.

Additional Requirements:

Physical exam through APEX Physical Therapy or other providers depending on location.
